Position : Accountant (Payables)
Location : Dubai, UAE
Nationality : Indian
Qualifications : B Com / M.Com with minimum 5 years relevant experience in a Large/ Medium size Manufacturing company with excellent working knowledge in MS Office and ERP (Oracle R-12 is a plus). Those with good exposure to Internal Audit and VAT would be most preferred.
Roles & responsibilities :
The incumbent shall handle:
01. All aspects of IFRS & IAS.
02. VAT compliance
03. Preparation of cash flows
04. Supplier reconciliation
05. Implementation of Internal controls n checks
06. Implementation of policies n procedures
07. Documentation of all payable transactions
08. Liaise with auditors
09. Liaise with banks
10. Liaise with various international departments within the company / group on Payables
11. Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely payments
12. Finalisation and closure of various modules of ERP at specified intervals
13. Support other functions as and when required
